In the tightest JQ ratings ever, the final regular season rating came down to the last half of the last bout, and with Dyna Hurtcha sitting out most of the second half of a blowout vs. the Dolls (she only jammed 3 times in the second half), Bambi was able to hold on to register her fourth consecutive top JQ rating. She did this on the strength of the rawest stats there are: points. Leading the league in total poitns and points per jam (though only .01 ahead of Dyna in the latter category), Bambi was the only jammer to lead in two categories in what turned out to be the closest ratings ever, with only 2 points separating the top four skaters and 4 separating the top five.
Speaking of dramatics, Candy Crossbones almost snuck up and took over the top rating (ending up tied with Dyna for second) on the strength of a strong second half vs. the Dolls, but finished with 40 points for her highest rating ever (and her best placing since finishing second in 2007. Dyna Hurtcha couldn’t quite break her former teammate Mach Wheels’ record for highest lead percentage (a remarkable 78% in 2009) she lead in the category with an impressive 74%. Dust Bunny (who is the only skater other than Bambi to lead the league with the highest JQ) was the only skater to crack a century in +/-, at +108, while the Dolls’ Betty Bomber put on the star more for her team than any other jammer (at just over 36%).
